Pokémon Trainer Creator

Front page of deviantart!

The Pokémon Trainer Creator was my very first foray into indie game development. A Flash-based dressup game, it has garnered over two million views on Deviantart and was featured on its front page on 2 April 2018.

Matchstick Creative

In October 2019, I was hired as a freelance web developer for the Liverpool-based digital marketing agency Matchstick Creative. At the time, it was called J&R Agency, but rebranded to Matchstick Creative in early 2020. (I renamed the company!)

ECPAT

1st Place - 2015 mPathy Project

This app was designed for the 2015 mPathy project, a UX design contest sponsored by Google NYC and non-profit ECPAT. It aims to help the hospitality industry combat child sex trafficking. The prototype was created with Adobe InDesign and inVision and is developed by non-profit technology organization WebServes.

The Commute

Nominated - National Board of Review

A short animated film created as a final project for a 2D animation course, The Commute was nominated by my college to compete in the National Board of Review. It was created with Adobe Photoshop and AfterEffects and has accumulated almost 80,000 views on YouTube.

AINT WET

Featured

Described by whatusersdo.com as “potentially the most idiot-proof ecommerce ever built,” this e-commerce site was coded with HTML/CSS, Javascript and PHP. I was commissioned to lay the groundwork for the front-end and back-end of the website for NYC- based guerilla art group AINT WET. It has also been featured on brutalistwebsites.com for its simple and easy-to-navigate interface.

Augmented Reality Maze

Inspired by the classic handheld mazes I played with in my childhood, this augmented reality maze was created using Unity and Vuforia. Using a printed AR marker and a camera, players can move the physical marker to control a ball-like character’s movements. This project served as a model for an augmented reality workshop for children. They learned how to use TinkerCAD to customize their own characters, and program with C#.

Miraculous Kwami Creator

Inspired by the Miraculous Ladybug series, this game allows users to customize their own Kwami, cute creatures that give characters in the show superpowers. I developed this game to challenge myself in Autodesk Maya, C# and Unity.

Virtual Reality Cottage

This virtual reality cottage was developed as a model for an Oculus Rift world building workshop. Children ages 9-14 learned how to use TinkerCAD, Unity and C# to put together their own virtual worlds.

Womankind

In 2016, I became a volunteer web developer for Womankind, a nonprofit organization that advocates for survivors of domestic violence. I use the CMS Wordpress to customize stylesheets, optimize SEO and create webpages that help raise awareness and funds for the organization.
