Hi! My name is Joy
I was born and raised in New York City, but moved to Liverpool, England in 2019. I have been obsessed with art and technology since a young age. I am constantly seeking ways to improve my skills so that I can find better ways to breathe life into my creations.
In New York, I studied digital media and computer science at CUNY Hunter College. After graduating, I worked with talented designers and global brands at creative agencies Hiker and Matchstick Creative, and passed on my skills to children at the Pixel Academy (now called Voxel Academy).
I currently work as a full-stack developer at Milexa, an interior design company in Liverpool. Throughout my education and career, I have been fortunate to work with many intelligent and creative people who helped me on many challenging projects.
In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, watching TV shows and film, playing video games and learning about different cultures. One of the greatest perks of growing up in New York City was a constant exposure to different kinds of people. As I have family and friends all over the globe, I'm always eager to travel to new places and add stamps to my passport!
