I am currently an undergraduate student studying at CUNY Hunter College. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I am constantly inspired by the diverse urban environment in which I live. I have also travelled around Europe and Asia, and try to incorporate the things I learn throughout my explorations into my work.
My interest in art started when I was 4 years old. Inspired by Disney and Studio Ghibli animations, I created my own drawings with hopes of becoming a professional artist and animator. Still latching onto these dreams, I have finished a variety of animated projects, such as The Commute and Elementals.
As I grew older, I realized that I would need to utilize technology in order to breathe more life into my creations. Thus, I started programming when I was a high school student. One of the first games I created was Adopt a Pet, a final project for my high school Flash animation class. I used the skills I learned from creating Adopt a Pet to complete the popular Pokémon Trainer Creator, which has accumulated over a million hits on Deviantart.com. I have since moved on from Flash and have created games such as Squirrel Quest with the Unity game engine.
I hope my work both entertains and inspires people. My main goal as an artist is to evoke positive emotions. I light up when I hear the sound of laughter and joy in reaction to my work because then I know what I've done was all worthwhile.
